Wordpress Plugins — Editorial Calendar
CoSchedule
The CoSchedule Editorial Calendar is a go-to plugin for bloggers! It’s an all-in-one place for scheduling out blog posts and social media posts. You can create systems like sharing your blog posts 3 weeks later onto Facebook with one click. Here is a great tutorial on how you can use the CoSchedule plugin.
Wordpress Plugins — SEOKeysearch
A great way to help boost your SEO and get your ranking up in Google is focusing on the keywords in your posts. A keyword is the words or phrase someone would type into a search engine that would potentially lead them to your site. A good keyword research tool like Keysearch can really help you out, it tells you how difficult a certain keyword will be to rank high in and also gives you related terms. You can see what websites are the top ranks for that term and track how your own pages are doing. Totally worth the $17 / month investment!
Design ToolsSketch
I have found Sketch to be my go-to design program. Even more than Illustrator and InDesign! I use Sketch for web design and quick PDF’s like moodboards or a media kit. (Illustrator I use for more complicated logos and InDesign I use for e-books). It is $99 / year, not even $10 a month so it’s totally worth it! Get the free trial and test it out!
Blogging Tools — Writing
Grammarly
Blogging is a lot of writing, so it’s important to have your grammar and spelling correct! Grammarly is a huge help, I use the free version and works anywhere online like WordPress, Facebook, Gmail, etc. Even if you’re a grammar wiz, this is a great browser extension to have to help proofread your work!
ShopifySimplyCost
This app allows you to add the cost price so you don’t have to calculate the profit of your sales. You can view reports and charts to help you make informed business decisions!
ShopifyApps by BOLD
BOLD makes great apps for Shopify, including recurring orders, uploading files for custom products, and more!
Shopify — $19.99/month
Cross Sell
This Shopify App lets you hand pick of your product page’s related items. By default, Shopify themes will show ‘You May Also Like’ related products based on categories but you may want to specifically choose products that would go together, like curating an outfit or displaying ‘get the look’ from the product photos. This app will do that and give you full control!
Shopify — $4.99/month
Collection Filter
This gives your customers an easy way to search by your options, like size, color, type, etc.

Business Must-Haves — Knowledge is Power
Google Analytics
If you own an online business or have a website in general, you need to have Google Analytics connected. Knowledge is key, and Google Analytics will keep all the stats of where your traffic is coming from, what they are most interested in looking at, and their demographics. All this information can help you improve your business!
ShopifyEnhanced Ecommerce
Wordpress PluginsMinimal Coming Soon & Maintenance Mode
If you need to work on your live site without anyone seeing the process, this is the plugin I use. You can very quickly and easily set up a simple and clean “Coming Soon” page while still accessing the site if you are logged in.
Organization Tools — Beautiful Scheduler
Calendly
The most annoying part of scheduling meetings with people is the back-and-forth emails to figure out a time that works for both people. Calendly is what I use and highly recommend to make scheduling a breeze! You just choose time slots, connect it to your Google/Outlook/iCloud Calendar and the person can schedule a time that works for them and already know works for you! It is completely free (unless you need certain options, I use the free version) and it is very pretty which is a must for me.
Podcasts — Creative Entrepreneurs
The Goal Digger Podcast
Jenna Kutcher is an amazing source of knowledge when it comes to owning a business and rocking it! She has SO much information and gives lots of good tips on her podcast.
Organization Tools — Spring Clean your Inbox
UnRoll.Me
If you feel like you get dozens of emails a day and want to clean out your inbox, this webapp is for you! It is so awesome and makes it super easy to unsubscribe to unwanted/unnecessary/old emails. You just sign in with your email and it will show every subscription you are a part of in alphabetical order, scroll through the list, and just click to unsubscribe to each! I recently signed in and unsubscribed to more than 100 companies that I didn’t care about anymore or didn’t even recognize! It seems to work well and it can greatly decrease the amount of emails you get in your inbox that you don’t care about.
Business Must-Haves — Blogging ToolsMailChimp
As a blogger, MailChimp is where you want to build your email list. It has the best ability to create beautiful custom templates (which I offer with my custom site services) and you can segment and automize lots of email campaigns to your subscribers.
