Hi there!
I’m McKenzie and I make stuff like it’s my job. More specifically, I design brands & develop websites for people that want to share their amazing ideas with the world! I also love to do personal projects. Whether it’s through design, photography, knitting, calligraphy, cooking, crafting — I’ll try just about anything! My motto is: Why be a master in one thing when you can be great at dozens of things...

Artists I’m Loving on Instagram
1 | I can’t get enough of Briony’s floral mosaics! The colors and her ability to cut ceramic tiles into shapes to create these flowers is awe-inspiring. It’s getting me all excited to give it a go somewhere in our future home garden!
2 | I’ve been on a sewing streak lately and this puff quilt is something I want to try next. I can only assume it is major cuddly.
3 | The way this plant perfectly scoured into the fabric makes me want to take every plant and flower I see and pound it into any scrap fabric I can find. I haven’t bought her workshops on homemade dye but you can best be sure I will someday soon!
4 | I’ve wanted to play with resin and flowers for a while and seeing these adorable earrings gets me antsy to get my hands on some resin asap!
5 | Gosh this account of stained glass makes me so so happy. The color choices are just on point! I’ve got a design idea already prepped and ready to give it a go when I get the chance.
6 | I just love the bold black illustrations that this artist does, in addition to all the other things she paints as well.
7 | Another account I always love seeing new posts on. Her gathered natural items and the way they are organized makes me want to treasure-hunt every time I am outside!
8 | Speaking of gathered items, this account has tons of ideas on nature kid crafts and I want to try all the things!
9 | This artist has the most beautiful style that has an Impressionism feel but is very realistic as well. Makes me want to give oil painting a go again!

Unique Handmade Gifts for Grandma on Mother’s Day
I love trying to incorporate kids into Mother’s Day gifts and gathered a couple of my favorite ideas for you to try this Mother’s Day!
1 | Let your kids draw on some wooden spoons. Later, take a wood etching tool and burn it in. Grandma will love seeing the hearts and love burned in while she cooks. Personalize a cutting board from the whole family instead!
2 | Take any recent photos of your kids with their Grandma and order a Chatbooks or Pinhole Press! You know Grandmas love any and all gifts that incorporate photos of their grandkids.
3 | This idea comes from a friend who took photos of her kids, printed and cut out, then laminated and poked holes to create the cutest little unique bookmark for Grandma! I love this one so much.
4 | Go on a nature walk with your child, find some pretty flowers, and stamp them onto sheets of beeswax fabric so your Grandma can use to wrap items in something made with love. Google Hapa Zome natural dye printing for tutorials and ideas!

Dear James | Half a Year
Our sweet baby James is now six months old. And I thought Hazel’s first six months was the fastest of my life. I feel like I blinked and James is sitting up and eating food.
James joining our family was as smooth as it could have ever been. Hazel adores him and so do we. He is now sleeping through the night and loves to feed himself his own bottles. Literally the easiest baby in the whole world.
We have so much love for this chunky, smiley baby. He is the perfect addition to our family and such a shining light in our lives. He’ll be sitting in his carseat and you’ll glance in his direction and he will burst into squeals out of excitement for attention.
James, I can’t wait to see your personality shine even more as you grown and become the amazing boy I know you will be. You are so loved!
