Sunday we had the awesome opportunity to go to Eilat, which is on the tip of the Red Sea south of Jerusalem. It was a trip planned by us students and we all went to snorkel in the Red Sea! It was an awesome day and so nice to wear shorts and a swimsuit and lay out in the beach.

My roommate Paige was super nice and let me borrow her second swimsuit. And Dev and I were matching! How cute 🙂

We spent a good 3-4 hours on the beach and snorkeling (i went twice!) and afterwards we got a real nice dinner and ice cream.

It was nice to have a lazy summer day

My camera died after the beach so I don’t have pictures of anything else (hence lots of pictures of me with friends). I had a great day and it was cool to get an idea of what the landscape maybe looked like while Moses and the Israelites wandered for 40 years (they possibly passed through Eilat). I’m having an amazing time and so grateful to be here in Israel!
