Art Study of Depictions of Christ during Holy Week

Print out and tape all around a room and create an art gallery (include family pieces too!). There are many famous artists with many art pieces you could use, including Carl Bloch, James Tissot, Leonardo da Vinci, and Caravaggio. Have everyone in the family choose ones they want to print out as well, including modern or more abstract depictions.

Walk around and ask these questions to your children:

What scene is being depicted?
Look at the expressions on each of the faces. What do you think they are feeling/thinking?
How does this painting make you feel? Why? What do you see in the picture that makes you feel this way?
