My sister-in-law cross-stitched all of her kids’ stockings and I love looking at them every time we visit during Christmas. Such love and hard work are put into these pieces! I already have stockings for my children but I am so motivated to have a cross-stitch piece as part of our Christmas decorations that I dove into the black hole of the internet to see what I could find.
Of course, I wanted it to serve a purpose more than just pretty decor so I naturally narrowed my search to nativity scenes. I thought it would be cute to hang a stocking for Jesus each year and these are what I found.
| Probably my favorite needlepoint stocking. Vintage and colorful.
| I love all the animals in it and that this stocking is simple.
| This is also a top favorite stocking. I love the vintage look to it.
| I love the simplicity of the scene on this one.
| These colors are more abstract and bright on this one. Very pretty.
| This stocking also has some fun bright colors!
| The scene doesn’t have baby Jesus in it but this one definitely feels Christmasy and the colors are more muted to match your home better.
| Very detailed and classic cross-stitch pattern. Looks like a lot of work but would be so worth it in the end!
| Another shepherd depiction with a beautiful angel at the center.
