This is the first book I think of when I hear parenting books, I think just from how popular it was when I was first married. And it didn’t disappoint. I absolutely love the ideas behind ‘French parenting’. Ideas like teaching patience, self-reliance, how to handle frustration, and the belief that our children are somewhat rational people who can learn things.
