As I was walking to my car yesterday with heavy things on my mind, I found this little branch of flowers (in my favorite color) right next to my car on the ground. It was as if God placed them there Himself just for me. Even when I told Ryan about it as I picked him up from school he said the same thing.We don’t have any trees with these flowers near our home so it had blown from quite a ways. It really was exactly what I needed during this sad week for our family. It got me thinking about the tender mercies of the Lord and how the precious little details of life are so beautiful. It made me think of Elder Holland’s talk this past General Conference and one of my favorite quotes:

“His divine love and unfailing help will be with us even when we struggle—no, will be with us especially when we struggle.”

I wouldn’t say I’m struggling right now but the little branch of flowers gave me a precious reminder of God’s love for me individually. You can find that talk here.
